The Yugoslav final was held on March 3rd at the Dvorana Jazine in Zadar, hosted by Ana Brbora-Hum & Branko Uvodic. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 8 regional juries.

Tajci came 7th at the ESC. The lead singer of Viktorija was Snezana Miskovic who was a member of Aska that represented Yugoslavia in ESC 1982.
