UK NATIONAL FINAL 1999

The UK Final was held on March 7th at the BBC TV Studios in London, hosted by Ulrika Jonsson. Before the final, there was a semi-final held on Radio 2 on February 5th, hosted by Terry Wogan & Ken Bruce to reduce the original 8 songs down to 4 finalists. Televoting was used in both the semi-final and final. The 4 eliminated songs after the semi-final were: „All time high“ – Energia, „Fly“ – Cheryl Beattie, „Separate lives“ – Susan Black and „Wait until the morning“ – Leanne Cartwright. The winner was announced on March 12th.

At the ESC, Precious came equal 12th.  One of the sisters in Sister Sway took part in the 1988 UK Final as part of the duo Two-Che.
