The Swedish Final was held on March 5th at Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg, hosted by Triple & Touch. The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting – in the first round the top 5 were selected by 11 regional juries. In the second round the winner was chosen by regional televoting.

Arvingarna came 7th at the ESC. Christer Björkman represented Sweden at ESC 1992. Pernilla Emme was a backing singer for Norway at ESC 1990.
