The Swedish Final was held on January 29th at Cirkus in Stockholm, hosted by Thore Ehrling. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 4 juries. It had already been decided before the final that the winning song would be sung by Brita Borg at the ESC, even though she wasn’t actually taking part in the final.
