The Spanish Final was hosted by Carlos Lozano at the TVE TV Studios in Barcelona starting on October 22nd with 16 contestants, with evictions until February 11th when the 3 winners were chosen. On February 25th, the first of 3 special programmes was held to select the Spanish song for the ESC. Each of the 3 winners performed 3 songs, and an „expert“ jury selected the best two songs for each singer to progress to the next show on March 4th, when a televote decided which 3 songs (the best song by each singer) went on to the final on March 11th where the winner was chosen by televoting. The songs marked with a ‚Q‘ have qualified for the next round of voting – the first column of results indicates the songs chosen in the first round, while the second column shows the televoting results for the second round.
