The Slovene Final was held on February 6th at the RTVSLO TV Studios in Ljubljana, hosted by Saša Einsiedler & Saša Gerdej. The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting – the first to select the top 3 and the second to select the winner.

- Jadranka Juras was a backing singer for Slovenia in ESC 2002.
- Regina represented Slovenia in the 1996 ESC.
- Nuša Derenda represented Slovenia in the 2001 ESC.
