The Slovene Final was held at the RTVSLO TV Studios in Ljubljana on February 22nd, hosted by Mojca Mavec. The winner was chosen by televoting.

Tanja Ribic came 10th at the ESC where Irena Vrckovnik was one of her backing singers, as were two of the men from Rok n‘ Band. Darja Svajger represented Slovenia in ESC 1995.
