The Portuguese Final was held at the Lisbon Congress Centre on March 10th, hosted by Isabel AngelinoJorge GabrielHelena CoelhoDaniel Oliveira, Helena Ramos & Eládio Climaco. The winner was chosen by televoting (50%) & an „expert“ jury (50%). Vânia de Oliveira won the televote while NonStop were the favourites of the „expert“ jury. As there was a tie at the end of the voting, the votes of the „expert“ jury took precedence.

NonStop came 19th at the ESC Semi-Final. Vânia de Oliveira was a backing singer for Portugal in ESC 2004 and Beto was a backing singer for Portugal in ESC 2003.
