The Polish Final was held at the TVP TV Studios in Warsaw on January 28th, hosted by Artur Orzech & Agnieszka Szulim. The winner was chosen by a combination of televoting (50%) and an „expert“ jury (50%). Ich Troje won the televote while Dezire were the favourites of the „expert“ jury. As there was a tie at the end of the voting, the televoting result took precedence.

Ich Troje previously represented Poland in ESC 2003. At the ESC Semi-Final, they came 11th. One of the members of the group was Magda Femme who took part in the 2003 Polish Final. Amongst Danzel’s backing singers were Erwin van Motman who was a backing singer for the Netherlands in ESC 2004 & Ibernice McBean who represented Belgium in ESC 2002 as one of Sergio’s Ladies.
