The Maltese Semi-Final was held on February 1st at the Alhambra Theatre in Sliema, hosted by Mary Grech & Norman Hamilton. All of the songs were performed in both English and Maltese. The finalists were chosen by a jury made up of members of the audience plus musical personalities.
