The Israeli Final was held on February 5th at Petach Tikva TV Studio, hosted by Liron Weizman. Before the final there was a semi-final. The winner was chosen in two rounds – in the first round the finalists performed a cover version in duals – the winner of each dual qualified for the second round while the losers of each dual took part in another dual where they performed their potential ESC entries against each other to determine the 3rd finalist for the second round. In the second round they performed their potential ESC entries and the winner was chosen by an „expert“ jury (25%), the X-Factor judges (25%) & televoting and a mobile phone app (50%).
