The Israeli Final was held on December 28th at the Neve-Ilan TV Studios near Jerusalem, hosted by Duo Datz. The winner was chosen by a mixture of 3 regional juries, an „expert“ jury & televoting.

Tal Sundak came 16th at the ESC. One of the members of the group Hamsa was a backing singer for Israel in ESC 2000.
