
The Israeli Final was held on March 28th at the Binyaney Ha’uma in Jerusalem, hosted by Dalia Mazor & Nathan Datner. The winner was chosen by the votes of 7 regional juries.

Izhar Cohen previously won ESC 1978 ESC & came 7th in the 1982 Israeli Final. At the ESC, he was 5th. Lea Lupatin & Yardena Arazi were both members of the group Chocolate Menta Mastik that represented Israel in ESC 1976.
