Icelandic National Final 1990

The Icelandic Final was held on February 10th at the RUV TV studios in Reykjavik, hosted by Edda Andrésdóttir. Before the final there were two semi-finals. The winner was chosen by the votes of 8 regional juries and an „expert“ jury.

Semifinals

Both of the semi-finals were held at the RUV TV Studios in Reykjavik. A jury of 60 people in the studio audience voted on the songs and the top 3 in each semi-final went forward to the final.

Helga Möller Björgvin Halldórsson

Sigriður Beinteinsdóttir was previously a backing singer for Eyjólfur Kristjánsson in the 1987 Icelandic final. Grétar Örvarsson was a keyboard player for the song ‚Lífsdansinn‘ in the 1987 Icelandic Final & came 7th in the 1988 Icelandic final. At the ESC, they were 4th. Helga Möller was a member of the group Icy that represented Iceland in ESC 1986.
