The Greek Final was held on March 29th at the ERT TV Studios in Athens, hosted by Dafni Bokota. All of the songs were pre-recorded and were presented as video-clips. The winning song was chosen by an „expert“ jury but only the top 3 placings are known.

Sofia Vossou came 13th at the ESC. Lia Vissi represented Cyprus in the 1985 ESC and was a backing singer for Greece in 1979 & Cyprus in 1982. Takis Biniaris represented Greece in ESC 1985.
