The Greek Final was held on March 23rd at the ERT TV Studios in Athens, hosted by Olina Xenopoulou. All of the songs were presented as video clips and the winning song was chosen by an „expert“ jury.

Christos Callow previously took part in the 1987 & 1988 Greek Finals. At the ESC, he came 19th. Jimmis Makoulis represented Austria in ESC 1961 & Yiannis Dimitras represented Greece in 1981.
