The German Final was held at the Ostseehalle in Kiel on March 7th, hosted by Axel Bulthaupt. The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting/SMS voting – the first to select the top 3 and the second to select the winner. The placings below were not officially announced (beyond the top 3) but were published in a German newspaper. However, different sources say that Lovecrush were 12th and Charlemaine 14th.

Lou previously came 3rd in the 2001 German Final. At the ESC, she was equal 11th. (Ich) Troje had already won the Polish Final 2003.
