
The Finnish Final was held on February 21st at the YLE TV Studios in Helsinki, hosted by Erkki Pohjanheimo. Before the final there was a semi-final. The winner was chosen by an „expert“ jury.

Riki Sorsa came 16th at the ESC. Markku Aro represented Finland in ESC 1971.
