The Dutch Final was held on March 14th at the Dutch TV studios in Hilversum, hosted by Paul de Leeuw & Linda de Mol. The winner was chosen by an „expert“ jury (50%) & televoting (50%).

Marlayne came equal 8th at the ESC. Roger Happel was a backing singer for the Netherlands at ESC 1998.
