The Dutch Final was held on February 9th at the AVRO TV Studios in Hilversum, hosted by Hannie Lips. Each song was performed twice by different artists – once with a full orchestra and once with a smaller one. The winning song was chosen by regional juries, then an „expert“ jury chose Rudi Carell over Annie Palmen as the singer.
