The Danish Final was held at the Atletion Arena in Aarhus on February 7th, hosted by Natasja Crone & Peter Mygind. The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting – in the first round, the top 5 songs were selected by televoting. In the second round the winner was chosen by 4 televoting regions and SMS voting.

Tomas Thordarson came 13th at the ESC Semi-Final. One of the members of the group ‚Neighbours‘ – Helge Engelbrecht – represented Denmark in 1987 as a member of the group Bandjo.
