
The Danish Final was held at the DR-TV Studios in Copenhagen on March 9th, hosted by Jørgen Mylius. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 5 regional juries.

Kirsten & Søren previously represented Denmark in ESC 1984. Kirsten also came 7th in the 1983 Danish Final. Tommy Seebach represented Denmark in ESC 1979 & 1981, while Gry Johansen did the same in 1983. Trax were John Hatting & Lise Haavik. John Hatting was a member of the group Brixx that represented Denmark in 1982. At the ESC, Kirsten & Søren came 11th.
