
The Danish Final was held at the DR-TV Studios in Copenhagen on February 3rd, hosted by Jørgen Mylius. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 8 regional juries. There was a tie for first place at the end of the voting between Tommy Seebach and Grethe Ingmann & Bjarne Liller P., therefore there had to be a re-vote which Tommy Seebach won by 51 points to 36. Song 2 was performed in Greenlandic, while song 17 was sung in Faroese.
