The Danish Final was held on February 24th at the Tivoli Concerthall in Copenhagen, hosted by Marianne Birkelund. The winning song was chosen by a jury of 10 people.

Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann went on to win the ESC. Birthe Wilke represented Denmark in 1957 & 1959, while Dario Campeotto did the same in 1961.
