The Croatian Final was held on March 20th in the Crystal Ballroom of Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, hosted by Daniela Trbovic & Mirko Fodor. The winner was chosen by the votes of 11 regional juries.

Toni Cetinski previously came equal 8th in the 1991 Yugoslav Final and 6th in the 1993 Croatian Final. At the ESC he was 16th. Toni’s backing singers participated in the 1993 Croatian final as the group K-2.
