The Bosnian Final was held on March 6th at the Skenderija City Hall in Sarajevo, hosted by Segmedina Srna & Lejla Babovic. The winner was chosen by 8 regional juries in Bosnia & 1 in Germany. On April 16th Hari Mata Hari was disqualified as it was revealed that his song had previously been released by Finnish singer Janne Hurme in 1997 as „Sydänveri“. Consequently, Dino & Beatrice were declared winners.

Dino & Beatrice came 7th at the ESC. Zeljka Katavic-Pilj was a backing singer for Bosnia in ESC 1996 & 1997. Seid Memic-Vajta represented Yugoslavia at ESC 1981.
