The Belgian Semi-Finals were held at the Amerikaans Theater in Brussels, hosted by Luc Appermont. In each semi-final the groups performed some of their hits, plus 3 potential songs for the ESC. The songs were voted on by 192 people in the audience who awarded each song a mark between 1-6 points immediately after it had been performed. The lowest scoring song in each semi-final was dropped, and the highest 2 went on to the final.
