The Belgian final was held at the Casino Cursaal in Oostende on March 9th, hosted by Jessica De Caluwe. Clouseau sang several songs in the final, 3 of which were contenders for the ESC. The winner was chosen by Clouseau themselves.

Clouseau previously came 2nd in the 1989 Belgian final. At the ESC they were 16th.
