The Belgian Final was held on March 7th at the American Theatre in Brussels, hosted by Luc Appermont. Before the final there were 3 semi-finals. The winner was chosen by an „expert“ jury and only the name of the winner was announced, although it is rumoured that Liliane St. Pierre came 2nd.
Semifinals
All of the semi-finals were held at the American Theatre in Brussels, hosted by Luc Appermont. After all 3 semi-finals had been broadcast there was a 4th programme which showed 1 minute of each song – after this the public could vote for their favourites by filling out Lotto forms. The top 10 songs went forward to the final.
