The Belgian Final was held on March 3rd at the Amerikaans Theatre in Brussels, hosted by Karl Buts. Before the final there had been 4 semi-finals. Micha Marah sang all the songs and the winner was chosen by an „expert“ jury of 20 people consisting of former ESC entrants, people from TV, radio and the press.

Micha Marah came equal 18th at the ESC.  She previously took part in the Belgian Finals of 1971 (equal 4th) and 1975 (5th & 7th).
