The Belarussian Final was held on February 10th at the Republic Palace in Minsk, hosted by Denis Kurian. The top 3 songs (chosen by televoting) went forward to an internal selection at Belarussian TV, where Polina Smolova was chosen as the winner on February 27th.

Polina Smolova previously came 8th in the 2004 Belarussian Final and also took part in the 2005 Final. At the ESC Semi-Final, she came 22nd. Gosia Andrzejewicz was a backing singer for Poland in ESC 2005.
