The Semifinals
The Norwegian semi-finals were hosted by Synnøve Svabø & Stian Barsnes Simonsen. The top 2 songs in the first 3 semi-finals (chosen by televoting) qualified for the final, while the 3rd and 4th placed songs had a second chance to qualify for the final in the 4th semi-final.

Hanne Haugsand represented Norway in ESC 2000 as a member of the group ‚Charmed‘.
The Final
The Norwegian Final was held on February 4th at the Spektrum in Oslo, hosted by Synnøve Svabø & Stian Barsnes Simonsen. The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting – the first to select the top 4 and the second to select the winner.

Christine Guldbrandsen came equal 14th at the ESC. Tor Endresen was a backing singer for Norway in ESC 1988 & represented Norway in 1997. Geir Rönning represented Finland in ESC 2005.
