The Irish Final was held on March 8th at the Helix Centre in Dublin, hosted by Ray D’arcy, with the result being announced on March 9th. The last 4 singers in the „You’re a Star“ contest each sang a potential ESC entry starting on February 23rd, with the public eliminating one every week by televoting.
