
The Yugoslav final was held on March 9th at the Sarajevo TV studios, hosted by Draginja Balac & Senad Hadzifejzovic. The winner was chosen by the votes of 8 regional juries.

Bebi Dol previously came 6th in the 1983 Yugoslav final, 4th in 1987 and 3rd in 1988. At the ESC she was 21st. Miran Rudan was a backing singer for Italy in the 1990 ESC. Daniel represented Yugoslavia in 1983.
