The Belgian Final was held on February 3rd. There should have been 6 songs in the final, but both Andrée Simons and Serge & Christine Ghisoland withdrew one of the songs they were due to sing. The winner was chosen by 2 juries – one consisting of 600 TV viewers, and the other consisting of „experts“ and the cultural attachées in Amsterdam of the other participating countries in the ESC.
